Simple Energy has launched the One electric scooter at Rs 1.10 Lakh (Ex. Showroom) in the Indian market. The aforementioned pricing excludes the subsidies provided by the various state governments on the purchase of electric vehicles. Simple One bookings are already underway at a refundable token payment of Rs 1947 at the company's website in the country. The One electric scooter will be at loggerheads with the likes of Bajaj Chetak Electric, Ather 450 Plus, TVS iQube and the recently launched Ola S1 in India.


Simple One Electric Scooter Range & Performance

Underpinning a lightweight tubular platform, Simple One e-scooter gets a 4.8 kWh lithium-ion battery which is partially removable. It delivers top power of 6.03 bhp and peak torque of 72 Nm. The scooter does a 0-40kmph sprint in 2.95 seconds while clocking a top speed of 105kmph. Simple One gets four riding modes in the form of Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic. The power is transmitted via a chain drive to the rear wheel. The scooter comes with a range of 203 kms on a single charge while the battery can be charged upto 80 percent from scratch in merely 2.75 hours with the home charger.


Simple One Electric Scooter Features

The e-scooter rides on 12-inch wheels as standard. The suspension duties are helmed by telescopic forks upfront while there is a monoshock at the rear. As for braking, it has been equipped with disc units at both ends. Simple One is one of the lightest scooters in its segment with a weight of 110 kgs. The most notable feature of the scooter is the 7-inch touchscreen instrument cluster which comes with 4G and Bluetooth connectivity. The Smartphone can be paired with the scooter to avail features like music, call control and navigation. It comes with a underseat storage capacity of 30 litres while vehicle tracking and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) also come as standard.

Simple One Electric Scooter Colors

Simple One is offered in four exterior color options in the form of Namma Red, Azure Blue, Grace White and Brazen Black. The company has particularly dedicated the Namma Red paint shade to the people of Karnataka, where its headquarters and factory are based.
