Honda CB350 RS is an off-road-oriented version of the H’ness CB350

Honda 2-Wheelers India has launched the much-awaited CB350 RS at Rs 1.96 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The motorcycle has been designed with a road-sailing concept. The bookings have commenced from today at Honda’s premium dealerships – BigWing Topline & BigWing across India. Deliveries will begin in the first week of March.

The new CB350 RS is a more off-road-oriented version of the H’ness CB350. It gets an aggressive design. Upfront, it features a round-shaped LED headlamp with a unique ring design. Other design bits include eye-shaped LED winkers, under-seat sleek LED tail lamp, light black smoked front & rear fender, tuck & roll seat, skid plates, wide pattern tyres, 15-litre fuel tank, and sporty looking grab rails. The muffler on the side gets a smoky-black finish with chrome inserts. Furthermore, it also gets a shining bold Honda badge on the fuel tank.

Honda has equipped the CB350 RS with segment-first features. These include an advanced digital-analog meter, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), assist & slipper clutch, engine start/stop switch, and hazard switch. The rider can easily get details like torque control, ABS, side stand indicator with engine inhibitor, gear position indicator, and battery voltage through this digital-analog meter. The fuel-efficiency details are displayed in three modes - real-time mileage, average mileage, and distance to empty.

“Brand CB stands for realizing dreams of a true motorcycle enthusiast. Since the launch of the CB92 in 1959, it has pushed the boundaries of technology. It is a beautiful overlap of performance, comfort, style, technology and reliability. Last year, Indian riders got a chance to experience ‘made in India’ CB brand and elevate their pride of fun riding. Today, we are excited to add another chapter to the CB series. Exhibiting the true legacy of CB Brand, the CB350RS will add value for the Indian customer by providing contemporary style and superior stance, further enhancing the fun biking culture,” as commented by Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.

Mechanically, the new CB350 RS is powered by a 350cc, air-cooled 4-stroke OHC single-cylinder engine that churns out 20.7 bhp power at 5500 rpm and 30 Nm peak torque at 3000 rpm. The new CB350 RS sits on a half-duplex cradle frame in a steel pipe. In terms of braking, the bike gets a 310mm disc at the front wheel and a 240mm disc towards the rear end, coupled with dual-channel ABS. Furthermore, the bike will be available in two color options – Radiant Red Metallic and Black with Pearl Sports Yellow.
