Ford India has launched the EcoSport Titanium AT at a starting price of Rs 10.66 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom Delhi) in the country. The new automatic variant comes with several advanced features such as paddle shifters, cruise control and FordPass connectivity. The company is accepting bookings for Ford EcoSport Titanium AT via a dedicated online portal, www.booking.india.ford.com. The online booking portal allows buyers to select, book and avail doorstep delivery of their new car. Customers booking Ford cars online will get real-time assistance from a booking partner, available six days a week from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
Ford EcoSport Titanium AT features also include push start/stop, touchscreen infotainment system with embedded navigation, dual airbags, traction control system, electronic stability control and hill launch. The FordPass connectivity solution comes factory-fitted at no additional cost while enabling the buyers to perform several vehicle operations like starting, stopping, locking or unlocking remotely. “With the new Titanium trim in the 2020 EcoSport line-up, we wish more consumers to enjoy the convenience of an automatic without compromising on the fun-of-driving. The outstanding value on offer will ensure that consumers no longer settle for underwhelming automatic technologies available in the market,” said Vinay Raina, executive director for Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India.
Mechanically, Ford EcoSport Titanium AT is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5L petrol engine which generates power output of 120bhp and peak torque of 149Nm. The engine is linked with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Ford EcoSport comes with 3-year or 100,000kms standard warranty and longer service intervals of 10,000kms as compared to 5,000kms for most compact SUVs. The service cost of the sub-compact SUV in the first year is as low as Rs 1400 while the 100,000-KM or 10-year service cost is just Rs 4700. Besides the online booking portal, the interested customers can also book their Ford cars through Dial-A-Ford initiative at a toll-free number 1800-419-3000. All Ford cars are thoroughly disinfected by the company staff at the time of pick-up and before delivery to customers.
