BMW India has silently launched X7 M50d at Rs 1.63 crore.

BMW India which had just launched the much awaited and glamorous X6 in the Indian market has silently introduced yet another variant to their X7 flagship SUV. BMW X7 M50d has been launched at a price tag of Rs 1.63 crores (ex-showroom). Joining the current line-up of variants (xDrive 30d and xDrive 40i), the M50d is basically a sporty iteration of this ultra-luxurious SUV - the X7. 

As far as the powertrain is concerned, the BMW X7 M50d comes equipped with a 3.0 litre, twin-turbo, inline 6-cylinder diesel engine. The oil mill is capable of producing 395 bhp of maximum power output @4400 rpm while its peak torque is 760 Nm @2000 - 3000 rpm. Powering its four wheels is an 8-speed automatic transmission. Since it is all about performance let us tell you that this massive SUV can accelerate from standstill, 0 - 100 kmph in just 5.4 seconds.  

Speaking about the exterior design, as already the SUV is on sale in the market further enhancements to the design include an M Sport Package. The package offers refreshed bumpers both in the front and the rear that provide the X7 a sportier look. On the sides, there are M Sport inspired alloy wheels while the rear end stands to provide twin exhaust tips. Coming to the interiors, the premium SUV is feature loaded with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers Apple CarPlay and has gesture control. Other fittings include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, 5-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting. There are also BMW's Laser light headlamps thrown into the package.
