Audi India has launched the RS5 Sportback at a staggering price of Rs 1.04 Crore (Ex. Showroom) in the country. Being brought to the Indian shores via the CBU route, Audi RS5 is introduced in the Indian market as a Sportback for the very first time. The high-performance model is offered in eight exterior colors namely Nardo Grey, Turbo Blue, Tango Red, Mythos Black, Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Sonoma Green and Daytone Grey. The cabin is finished in a Black theme with Rock Grey stitching as standard.
Audi RS5 Sportback Design
Audi RS5 Sportback flaunts a new single-frame glossy black RS honeycomb grille upfront along with Matrix LED headlamps with dynamic turn indicators. The flared wheel arches house the 19-inch 10 spoke alloy wheels. The rear end is dominated by an LED tail-lamp cluster with dynamic turn signals and the surface mounted spoiler. Some of the other striking elements include RS bumpers, body coloured exterior mirror housings, frameless doors with Audi Sport LED Door Projection.
Audi RS5 Sportback Interior & Features
The interior is finished in Alcantara leather with decorative aluminum inlays. Furthermore, the pedals and footrest are embellished with stainless steel while the RS scuff plates adorn the running boards. It is equipped with several premium features such as Panoramic glass sunroof, 3-spoke multifunction plus leather steering wheel with shift paddles, Front sports seats with adjustable lumbar support and massage function, 3-zone air-conditioning, Ambient lighting, Driver's seat with memory function, Audi virtual cockpit Plus, MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch and 180 W Audi sound system with 10 speakers.
Audi RS5 Sportback Safety Features
Audi RS5 Sportback comes loaded with a myriad of safety features in the form of 6-airbags, Cruise control with speed limiter, Hold assist, Parking Aid Plus with a rear-view camera, Auto-dimming interior frameless rear-view mirror, Power adjustable exterior mirrors with memory, heating, power-folding and auto dimming function and electric tailgate.
Audi RS5 Sportback Engine & Performance
Audi RS5 Sportback is powered by a 2.9L V6 twin-turbo TFSI petrol engine which generates maximum power output of 450 bhp and peak torque performance of 600 Nm. It does a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.9 seconds while clocking a top speed of 250kmph. The company has also offered two RS modes which can be toggled via the steering wheel. The Audi quattro permanent all-wheel drive system with self-locking center differential comes as standard. The suspension duties are helmed by RS Sports units at front and rear. As for brakes, it gets RS steel brakes with RS black brake callipers.
