Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the 2022 XL6 at a starting price of Rs 11.29 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price goes as high as Rs 14.55 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end Alpha+ AT trim. Having said that, the MPV is offered in a total of three variants namely Zeta, Alpha, and Alpha+. The vehicle will be sold via Maruti’s Nexa line of premium dealerships. It can also be owned through Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee of Rs 24,599. Furthermore, the new Maruti XL6 rivals the likes of the diesel-powered Mahindra Marazzo and the recently launched Maruti Ertiga.
The biggest change in the 2022 Maruti XL6 is under the hood. The MPV now comes with a new 1.5-litre DualJet petrol engine that churns out 102 bhp power at 6000rpm and 136.8 Nm peak torque at 4400rpm. The other big highlight is the new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Besides this, the vehicle continues to get the 5-speed manual gearbox. Furthermore, the updated XL6 can achieve 20.97 kmpl with the manual gearbox and 20.27 kmpl with the automatic gearbox.
