The 2020 Kawasaki W800 is priced at Rs 6.99 lakhs now which makes it even more affordable than Triumph Street Twin.

India Kawasaki Motors recently updated the official website with the price of the 2020 W800 Street Cruiser. The bike is now Rs 1 Lakh cheaper than the older model and is priced at Rs 6.99 Lakhs ( Ex-Showroom). Kawasaki W800 Street was launched in India in July 2019 at Rs 7.99 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). It competed against the likes of the Triumph Bonneville Street Twin and Bonneville T100. Kawasaki India had revealed the price of the updated BS6 model on April 1, 2020. Now the price has been slashed by Rs 1 Lakh to make it Rs 6.99 :akhs (Ex-Showroom). The reason for the price reduction is still not clear. However, the bike has become more affordable than the Triumph Street Twin which is priced at Rs 7.45 lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The price cut allows Kawasaki to position the model more aggressively, allowing the potential buyers to seriously consider it over the Street Twin in the segment. The Kawasaki dealerships have started accepting bookings for the 2020 W800 Street.

The Kawasaki W800 is a retro-style street bike. It takes styling inspiration from the iconic 650 cc Kawasaki W1. As for features, the bike gets a twin-pod instrument cluster with a small LCD, a full-LED headlamp, a slipper clutch, and a dual-channel ABS. The bike is based on a modern double-cradle frame. In terms of suspension, it gets 41 mm telescopic forks up front and twin spring shock absorbers at the rear end. The bike is equipped with a 320 mm disc brake at the front and has a 270 mm disc at the rear. The India-spec model rides on MRF tyres.
