Honda has started accepting bookings for the new CBR 650R

Honda is all set to introduce the 2019 Honda CBR 650R in India very soon and the Japanese bike maker has started accepting bookings for the new middle-weight motorcycle. The new CBR 650R can be booked across all the 22 Honda Wing World dealerships for a booking amount of Rs. 15,000/-. Honda has claimed that the bike will be priced in India for under Rs. 8 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The new Honda CBR 650R will be offered in two colour options - Grand Prix Red & Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. The new motorcycle was revealed at the 2018 EICMA show. Powering the new CBR 650 R is a 649cc liquid cooled four-cylinder, DOHC 16-valve engine that produces a maximum power output of 95 BHP with a peak torque of 64 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Honda CBR 650R comes with Assist/Slipper Clutch and Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) for optimum traction and it can be switched off too. It is 6 kg lighter than its predecessor. It comes with adjustable 41 mm Showa Separate Fork Function (SFF) USD forks. It features full LED dual headlights and digital LCD instrument cluster that displays all the required information.
