It is less known fact that in its early times the company was registered as Mohammed & Mahindra but later it was renamed to Mahindra & Mahindra in 1948. The company has been going strong since its inception in 1945 with its cars being ranked as among the most reliable brand in the Indian market.

The company has headquarters in Mumbai, India but the assembly units are spread across globe including China, USA and the UK, along with other countries that makes it a truly global company.

The company is known for manufacturing SUVs, saloon cars, pick-up vehicles, lightweight commercial vehicles, heavy-weight commercial vehicles, motorcycles and tractors.

 The most expensive car model is Mahindra XUV700. which mostly comes in only manual transmission and the car model is available in only diesel variant. The Mahindra XUV700. is priced at 40 lacs.

The 5 upcoming Cars are Mahindra eKUV100 which would be priced in the range at around 10lacs, Mahindra XUV Aero that would be priced at around 17 lacs, Mahindra Thar 2020 that would be priced at just 10lacs, Mahindra XUV500 2020 that would come at 9.5 lacs onwards, Mahindra XUV300 Electric that would be priced at 18lacs.
