The company was founded by Maurice Wilkes in the year 1947; the company was started at Newborough, Anglesey, England in Maurice’s farm. The brand later got the Royal Warrant from King George VI in 1951 and became the British icon. Land Rovers are currently assembled in England, India, China, and other markets. The brand currently manufactures models like Discovery, Freelander, Range Rover and Range Rover Evoque.

 

  • Discovery: The new Discovery sheds the traditional rectangular look and is now available in a curvy design. The new Land Rover Discovery get the Honeycomb grille and is flanked by sleek and modern LED headlamps. The Land Rover Discover is powered by the supercharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that generates power upto 335bhp at 6500rpm and maximum torque upto 450Nm at 5000rpm. The interior of the vehicle includes features like intelligent seat fold function, the C-pillar, the infotainment touchscreen that can be remotely operated with a smartphone and the panoramic sunroof.
