About Fiat Cars

At the end of the 19th century, Fiat cars started producing by an Italian car maker, it is the largest carmaker company in the country. Fiat has managed to obtain the tag of the oldest international carmaker selling cars in India for a long period of time. In 1951, Premier Automobiles started with the sale of Fiat 500 and then with the renamed Premier Padmini, it started selling Fiat 1100. Premier Padmini also came up with Fiat Uno and Siena in India. Finally, in 1997, Fiat ventured into India on its own and started selling Uno, Siena, Palio for the next ten years. Fiat has its manufacturing set up in Ranjangaon, Maharashtra, with 1.35 lakh cars and two lakh engines manufacturing capacity. The most remarkable point is Fiat builds engine not only for its own, but also for other carmakers such as Maruti and Tata Motors.

Linea Classic model has only petrol 1 variant continuing right now- 1.4 L P Classic of Rs. 6.46 lakhs, which has specifications such as 1368 cc engine, power 89 bhp @ 6000 rpm, 5 speed gearbox and manual transmission.

Fiat Urban Cross

Urban Cross model has 4 variants starting from Active Multijet 1.3 of Rs. 6.78 lakhs to the top-end trim Emotion T-jet 1.4 of Rs. 9.78 lakhs. These variants offer 1248 - 1368 cc engine, 92 – 138 bhp @ 4000 – 5500 rpm power, 209 – 210 Nm @ 2000 – 4000 rpm torque, and 17.1 – 20 Kmpl mileage.

Linea model has 4 variants starting from base trim Active T-jet of Rs. 7.02 lakhs to the top-most trim 1.4 T-jet Emotion of Rs. 9.98 lakhs. Fiat Linea is more powerful and sportier version of all other standard sedan model of Fiat. The technology it has used T-Jet engine makes it the most powerful car in the mid-size sedan segment in India.

Avventura model has 5 variants starting from Active Multijet of Rs. 7.12 lakhs to T-jet 1.4 available at Rs. 9.89 lakhs. The car offers 8 – 20 Kmpl mileage, 400 bhp @ 6200 rpm power, 500 Nm @ 3500 rpm torque and 670 liters boot space.

Fiat Abarth Punto

Abarth Punto model has only 1 variant continuing right now- T-jet 1.4 of Rs. 9.67 lakhs. The car is best to flaunt a sporty attitude; its bold exterior and interior design portrays a super-hot impression.

Fiat Abarth 595

Abarth 595 model has only 1 variant - Competizione of Rs. 29.85 lakhs, which has T-JET 4-cylinder In-line 1368 cc engine with more specifications such as 160 bhp @ 5500 rpm power, 230 Nm @ 3000 rpm torque, and 19 Kmpl mileage.

In 2019 – 2020, the brand is going to launch two more Fiat new cars. One is Fiat Agro, whose price will be around Rs. 6.50 – 7.50 lakhs and Fiat Tipo, the price will be around Rs. 8 – 13 lakhs. Both these Fiat new cars in India will be introduced between August and December of 2019.
