Hyundai India made entry into the Indian automobile market in 1996 and hasn’t looked back since. Hyundai’s presence is reflected across different segments be it the sedan, SUV or the hatchback. The Auto Expo 2020 was host to the unveiling of new-gen 2020 Hyundai Creta and 17th March 2020 is the scheduled launch date of the all-new SUV. It will be based on the second-generation Hyundai iX25 with many styling elements inspired by the China-spec SUV. Apart from the Creta, Hyundai also offers two other exciting vehicles to the Indian consumers - Venue and Verna. It will be fascinating to compare the mileage offered by the Hyundai vehicles and also the power and performances of them.
Hyundai Creta 2020 will be offered in 7 diesel and petrol variants with as many as 10 colour options. The New SUV is powered by a 1.4-litre turbo petrol, a 1.5-litre petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel motors. The turbocharged petrol engine generates a maximum power of 140bhp and peak torque of 242Nm while the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol motor delivers 115bhp and 145Nm. The 1.5L diesel develops 115bhp of highest power with a peak torque of 242Nm. We can expect the Mileage in the range of 16.8-21kmpl. Hyundai Venue comes with 3 engine options- 1.0 litre turbo petrol, 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.4 litre diesel. Hyundai Venue mileage range is 17.52 kmpl to 18.2 kmpl, as per ARAI.
Upcoming Hyundai Verna facelift is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The diesel engine can be expected to deliver a fuel economy of 21.4kmpl in manual avatar. Hyundai Creta launch is on 17 March 2020 and it is the day when we will get more clarity on specs and features.
