Volkswagen has finally graced the GTI on Indian shores. The first GTI to be brought to India by Volkswagen is a 3-door version of the Polo. We all know that a Volkswagen is focussed and fast once it gets a GTI badge. The hot hatch enthusiasts are grinning from ear to ear now that the GTI version is finally in India after 40 years of inception. The Polo GTI is being imported as a CBU. The headlamp shape remains the same as seen on the Polo but now gets LED daytime running lights. It has a wide mesh air dam that houses the signature GTI mesh grille which and a new sharper bumper with integrated fog lamps. As the rear doors have been ditched, the front doors are longer. Otherwise the profile remains the same. Except for the twin pod tail pipe that stands out, the exterior remains the same.
