California based electric motorcycle manufacturer, Zero Motorcycles, has released a teaser of its new fully electric bike. The teaser poster shows the front end of the motorcycle along with a date – 25/02/2019 in the hindsight that could possibly hint at the date when the motorcycle will be unveiled.
The new motorcycle from Zero would be called the SR/F and will be based on a completely new platform. The SR/F will be an addition to the company’s portfolio after the Zero S and the Zero SR. Like its siblings, the SR/F is also a naked roadster. According to Zero, the SR/F will be a first of its kind and the future of motorcycling.
It can be seen from the images that the new motorcycle gets an LED headlamp, daytime running lamps and upside-down forks at the front. The motorcycle will be styled very sharply in a true streetfighter sense.
Recently, Zero Motorcycles announced upgrades for its 2019 line-up along with a new range of batteries. Zero introduced three new batteries - the ZF14.4, ZF7.2 and ZF3.6. The new updates offer more range and better performance than the current range. If owners choose to equip Zero's optional ZF3.6 Power Tank to the largest battery - the ZF14.4 - that could offer a range of 359 km during city riding and 180 km during highway riding.
