The scooter is here for a brand building exercise and to gauge customer feedback.

Spotted in India just before the 2018 Auto Expo, the Aerox 155 was seen again at few Yamaha dealerships across our country. However, Yamaha, for now, has no plans to launch this product in India.

The moto-scooter is here for promotional purposes and brand building, and Yamaha is displaying it a few showrooms to see what customer feedback is on a large, powerful and premium scooter.

The scooter comes with a 5.9-inch all-digital instrument console, mobile charger and about 25 litres of underseat storage space. The higher-spec Aerox 155 S variant gets keyless ignition, a start-stop system and single-channel ABS. The scooter uses a R15-sourced 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 15hp and 13.8Nm.
