Yamaha extends the benefits for its customers for an additional 60 days from the date of expiry.

More than 1,070 people in India have tested positive for Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel Coronavirus. Yamaha Motors India has always believed in prioritizing its customers in the first place. To support customers during a nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, Yamaha Motors India has announced the extension of benefits for its customers for an additional 60 days from the date of expiry. 

According to a press statement, the company said that as a part of the Yamaha Lifetime Quality Care approach, it will be extending the free service, normal warranty and extended warranty till June 2020. This will be applicable for vehicles with a warranty expiring between 15th March to 15th April 2020. Moreover, the annual maintenance contracts expiring between 15th March to 15th April 2020 will to be extended till June 2020. 

All Yamaha dealerships have been informed to ensure that these benefits are passed on to the customers smoothly. Similarly, there are other multiple manufacturers who have announced the warranty period extension for their respective customers.
