Yamaha India has launched the Vintage Edition of the FZS FI at a price tag of Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike is Rs 5,000 premium over the regular offering. The company has further confirmed that the new variant will be available at all authorized Yamaha dealerships from the first week of December 2020. The new Vintage Edition of the FZS-FI gets the latest Bluetooth Connectivity via the “Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X” Application for various utilities.
In terms of design, the Yamaha FZS-FI Vintage Edition retains the overall silhouette when compared with the standard model. However, it does get subtle cosmetic updates. These include vintage body graphics inspired by its iconic legacy and a new leather-finish single piece two-level seat.
“We are committed to offering better motorcycling experiences to the customers in India. Today we have introduced the Vintage edition in our FZS-FI variant with smart features like Bluetooth connectivity. We will continue to bring more such excitement for the biking enthusiasts in the future, eventually as we rev up the entire line up of our motorcycles,” commented Motofumi Shitara, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of companies on the occasion of this introduction.
Performance-wise, the New Vintage Edition of the motorcycle continues to draw power from the same 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 12.2 bhp and 13.6 Nm peak torque while being mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
