The company introduces 'Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X' for its entire FZ series

Yamaha Motors India has introduced the new “Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X” technology in the country. This is basically a Bluetooth Connectivity application for Yamaha’s FZ series. The company had initially made this feature available with the FZS-FI Dark Knight BS6 variant. However, the entire series of FZ-FI & FZS-FI (150cc) BS 6 motorcycles can use this technology. Potential or existing buyers can now purchase the device as an extra accessory from an authorized Yamaha Dealerships & connect to Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X. After the introduction of this Bluetooth connectivity feature, the price of FZS-FI Dark knight has been revised to Rs 1.07 Lakhs (ex-showroom). With the new feature, it will be available for sale at all the Yamaha authorized dealerships from November 1 onwards.

Each of the functionalities is methodically crafted to help the bikers with a seamless experience of convenience & safety,” as commented by Motofumi Shitara, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of companies. 



The Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X application is available on Android Playstore or IOS app. You can download it for free. The application consists of six main features that include Answer back, E-lock, Locate my bike, Hazard, Riding history, and Parking record. Furthermore, the application enables the rider to connect to the bike by a single touch on the mobile. Also, the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X displays trip details such as distance, average speed, brake count, and battery voltage. It also shows the last parked location of the bike and helps navigate the rider from their current location to the bike using GPS.
