There is now a top-spec M Sport trim (priced at ₹54 lakh) instead of the xLine variant. A 2.0-litre 28i xLine petrol model is now discontinued, leaving only the 190hp, 2.0-litre 20d diesel engine.
The M Sport trim comes with everything that the base Expedition variant gets and, additionally, feature M badging, the M aerodynamics package, an M Sport leather-wrapped steering and sport seats for the driver and front passenger. This variant also features larger 18-inch alloy wheels.
The M Sport version also comes with a larger 8.8-inch iDrive touchscreen system with a 205W nine-speaker set-up and a storage compartment pack comprising of two 12V power sockets, storage nets, a rear armrest with two cupholders, and seat-back trays with separators. The base X3 is priced at ₹49.10 lakh, while the top-spec car costs ₹54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The third-gen X3 will be on display at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018.
