This week, several stories made it to the national headlines in India which included a plethora of new car and bike launches. MG Hector Plus Launched at Rs 13.49 Lakhs in India

MG Motor India finally launched the Hector Plus at an introductory price of Rs 13.49 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). Being available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims, it is available in four trim levels: Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. The 6-seater SUV will take on the likes of Mahindra XUV500 and the yet-to-be-launched Tata Gravitas in the Indian market. 2020 Hyundai Tucson Facelift Launched at Rs 22.30 Lakhs

Hyundai India launched the 2020 Tucson facelift at a sticker price of Rs 22.30 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo in February, it was launched digitally through the company's Virtual World #TheNextDimension program. The 2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift comes with several styling updates and new features while powered by a set of BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. 2020 New-Gen Honda City Launched at Rs 10.89 Lakhs

Honda Cars India finally launched the new-gen 2020 City sedan at a starting price of Rs 10.89 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims with BS6 compliant engines, it is offered in three trim levels: V, VX and ZX. The petrol trim has a total of six variants: three manual and three automatic, while the diesel has only three manual variants. Skoda Rapid Rider Plus Launched at Rs 7.99 Lakhs

Skoda Rapid Rider Plus offers additional features over the normal Rider variant that was recently discontinued. Priced at Rs 7.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom, pan India), the Rapid Rider Plus competes with the likes of just launched 5th Generation Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Vento in its segment. Ford EcoSport Titanium AT Launched at Rs 10.66 Lakhs

Ford India launched the EcoSport Titanium AT at a starting price of Rs 10.66 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom Delhi) in the country. The new automatic variant comes with several advanced features such as paddle shifters, cruise control and FordPass connectivity. Ford EcoSport Titanium AT features also include push start/stop, touchscreen infotainment system with embedded navigation, dual airbags, traction control system, electronic stability control and hill launch. It is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5L petrol engine which generates power output of 120bhp and peak torque of 149Nm. 2020 Audi RS7 Sportback Launched at Rs 1.94 Crores

Audi India launched the 2020 RS7 Sportback at a sticker price of Rs 1.94 Crores (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. It will be the fourth BS6 compliant model in Audi's portfolio in India after A6, A8L and Q8. The 2020 Audi RS7 Sportback will take on the likes of Mercedes-AMG E63 S and BMW M5 Competition in the Indian market. BS6 Hero XPulse 200 launched at Rs 1.11 Lakhs in India

The much awaited BS6 Hero XPulse 200 was finally introduced last week in the Indian market. Hero MotoCorp launched the updated BS6 XPulse 200 at Rs 1,11,790 (ex-showroom), New Delhi with only one variant. In comparison to its BS4 counterpart (Hero XPulse 200 Fi), the updated model is expensive by Rs 5290 as the bike's old price stood at Rs 1,06,500 (ex-showroom), New Delhi. It is powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is now BS6 compliant. The engine churns out 17.8 bhp power and 16.4 Nm of torque. Read More


All-New BMW S 1000 XR Launched at Rs 20.90 Lakhs

BMW Motorrad India launched the all-new S 1000 XR at a sticker price of Rs 20.90 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being available as a completely built-up unit (CBU), it will be sold and serviced through the BMW Motorrad authorized dealer network. BMW S 1000 XR is offered in a Pro variant in Ice Grey and Racing Red colour options. It is powered by a newly developed BS6 compliant 999cc in-line 4-cylinder engine which takes inspiration from the motor of BMW S 1000 RR. It develops a top power of 165bhp at 11000rpm and peak torque of 114Nm at 9250rpm. It does a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.3 seconds while achieving a top speed of over 200kmph. Read More
