Speedy Justice! CJI Bobde Clicked with Harley Davidson CVO 2020


The Chief Justice of India, Sharad Arvind Bobde was spotted riding a powerful Harley Davidson motorcycle recently. Not only CJI Bobde is a man of principles and ethics, but also a bike fanatic. Mechanically, this powerful bike is powered by the 2000cc, V-Twin engine that delivers 166 Nm of Torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Also, the limited edition CVO 2020 is priced at Rs 51 lakh (ex-showroom).

 

BS6 Honda Livo Launched at Rs 69,422 in India


Honda launched the BS6 version of Livo at an introductory price of Rs 69,422 (Ex-Showroom). Available in two variants Drum and Disc, the BS6 Livo features a new semi-digital meter console.  Mechanically, it is powered by a 109.51cc engine that delivers 8.8 bhp power and 9.3 Nm torque. The bike is available in four color options namely Athletic Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, and Black. 


Beast of the Day: Mahindra Bolero in its Wildest Avatar


Mahindra Bolero has been one of the successful SUVs in the Indian market ever since its launch. Recently, an automotive designer has given a newly purchased Bolero the wildest customization ever. The custom modified Bolero sports no headlamps at the front. It also gets an electric winch in the front in order to help you get out of muddy conditions in your off-road travels among other features.


Cars Launching in July 2020 in India


With the advent of Unlock2 mode, there are many automakers that have resumed operations and opened dealerships under the safety guidelines. Also, a number of car launches that were supposed to happen in March/April have been postponed due to the pandemic. Now, with India slowly opening up to the business, there are many car launches in july 2020.

 

2020 Hero Xtreme 160R BS6 Launched at Rs 99,950


Hero MotoCorp has launched the BS6 Xtreme 160R at Rs 99,950 (Ex. Showroom). Offered in two variants namely the Front Disc and Dual Disc, the bike debuts several first-in-segment features in the premium motorcycle segment in India. Under the frame, it draws power from a 160 cc air-cooled engine that delivers 15 bhp power. The engine comes with XSens technology and advanced Programmed-Fuel-Injection. 


Upcoming Bike Launches in July 2020


Now that the Government has eased the COVID’19 lockdown restrictions, automakers are slowly resuming their production. All these are being done under strict safety guidelines. With this, there has also been a slight uptick in the sales of the two-wheelers and four-wheelers. A lot of manufacturers are planning to launch new bikes in july 2020 in the country under the mass-market segment.


2020 Honda WRV Facelift Launched at Rs 8.50 Lakhs


Honda Cars India launched the WR-V facelift at Rs 8.50 lakh (Ex-Showroom) in the country. The new crossover comes with several cosmetic updates and is offered in two trims namely SV and VX. It is available in 6 color options namely Premium Amber Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Radiant Red Metallic. Mechanically, it gets two engine options - a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.


Hyundai Venue AMT Launched in India


Hyundai India launched the Venue AMT in the country recently. It is termed as intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT). This first-in-segment technology comes with a 2-pedal system. In such a case there is no need for the driver to constantly use the clutch pedal as in a traditional manual gearbox setup. Further, this technology has been introduced with a 1.0L T-GDi petrol engine with 6-speed manual transmission.
