This week Auto shots comprise of launch of Renault Kiger, Honda CB350 RS, Benelli Leoncino 500 BS6, BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX in India

We are back with our weekly dose of Auto shots for you! This week we saw a plethora of products being launched in the Indian market. Right from Renault Kiger, Honda CB350 RS to BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX, there were many other launches as well. Honda held the world premiere of the all-new 2021 HR-V (Vezel) SUV while Kabira Mobility launched the KM3000 and KM4000 electric motorcycles. Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid MotoGP Edition was unveiled globally. Volkswagen launched the turbo editions of Polo and Vento in the Indian market. Last but not the least, Benelli India launched the BS6 version of Leoncino 500 in the country.


Renault Kiger Launched at Rs 5.45 Lakhs



Renault India launched the most-awaited Kiger sub-compact SUV at an introductory price of Rs 5.45 lakhs (ex-showroom) on Feb 15, 2021. The price goes as high as Rs 9.55 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top-end variant. Bookings for the SUV started from today onwards. Interested buyers can book Renalut Kiger at a token amount of Rs 11,000 either online through the website or by directly visiting the authorized dealership across the country. The test drives for the SUV are also available at the showrooms. Renault Kiger is offered in four trims - RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ. Read Also


Volkswagen Polo and Vento Turbo Editions Launched in India


Volkswagen India launched the Polo Turbo edition and Vento Turbo edition at prices of Rs 6.99 Lakhs and Rs 8.69 Lakhs (Both ex. showroom), respectively, on Feb 16, 2021. Being based on the Comfortline trim, Volkswagen Polo TSI Turbo and Volkswagen Vento TSI Turbo come with new exterior and interior features while powered by the 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Turbo edition duo can either be booked online on the Volkswagen India website or through the nearest dealership. Read Also


Kabira Electric Motorcycles KM3000 and KM4000 Launched


Kabira Mobility launched its electric range of motorcycles in the form of KM 3000 and KM 4000 last week in the country. The former is priced at Rs 1.27 lakhs while the latter retails at Rs 1.37 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom). As per Kabira Mobility, the KM 4000 is considered to be the fastest electric bike. Kabira KM motorcycles feature a DeltaEV BLDC Hub Motor while using an universal Type 2 Charger and LFP (Lithium Ion) battery pack. Both bikes come with three driving modes - Eco, City, and Sports. Read Also


Honda CB350 RS Launched at Rs 1.96 Lakhs


Honda 2-Wheelers India launched the much-awaited CB350 RS at Rs 1.96 Lakhs (ex-showroom) on Feb 16, 2021. The motorcycle has been designed with a road-sailing concept. The bookings have commenced at Honda’s premium dealerships – BigWing Topline & BigWing across India. Deliveries will begin in the first week of March. The new CB350 RS is a more off-road-oriented version of the H’ness CB350. Furthermore, it is available in two color options – Radiant Red Metallic (single tone) and Black with Pearl Sports Yellow (dual-tone). Read Also


BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX Launched at Rs 56.50 Lakhs



BMW India launched the new 'SportX' variant of the X3 SUV at a starting price of Rs 56.50 Lakhs (ex. showroom) in the country. Being locally developed at the German luxury automaker's Chennai facility, BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX sales have immediately begun at all the dealerships. The new petrol variant comes loaded with a myriad of striking features. With bookings already underway, BMW X3 SportX will compete against the likes of Audi Q5, Mercedes Benz GLS, Volvo XC60 and Jaguar F-PACE in the Indian market. Benelli Leoncino 500 BS6 Launched at Rs 4.60 Lakh


Benelli India introduced the BS6 version of its Leoncino 500 at a starting price of Rs 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the motorcycle goes as high as Rs 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom) for Leoncino Red color. Talking about the colour options, the BS6 Leoncino is offered in two colours - Steel Grey and Leoncino Red. Interested buyers can book the bike at a token amount of Rs 10,000 either by directly visiting the website or by going to the nearest Benelli India dealership. Benelli is also offering a 3-year unlimited kilometer warranty as standard with the 500cc motorcycle. Read Also


New Honda HR-V (Vezel) Unveiled Globally




The New Honda HR-V (Vezel) was unveiled in Japan ahead of its official launch which is set to take place later this year. The automaker has yet not confirmed anything about its India launch. The third-gen SUV comes with significant cosmetic and feature upgrades along with a strong hybrid system. The 2021 HR-V if launched in India will rival the likes of Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and the upcoming Skoda Kushaq. The safety kit on the 2021 HR-V consists of a misstep collision mitigation system, pedestrian detection, lane hold assist, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition. Read Also


Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid MotoGP Edition Breaks Cover




Suzuki won the seventh world title in the premier class of the World Championship, all thanks to Joan Mir, 2020 MotoGP Champion. To celebrate this, the automaker introduced a limited edition of the Swift Sport hybrid. It is priced at Euros 20,900 (Rs 18.44 lakhs). This special edition of the sporty hatch is just limited to seven units. Furthermore, it will not be sold in India. The sporty hatchback recalls the colors of the official Suzuki GSX-RR of Team Ecstar. The dashboard has a limited edition unit number and an autograph of Joan Mir. Read Also
