He beat Karminder Singh by over 10 seconds

South African VW Cup racer, Devin Robertson won the third race of Volkswagen’s Ameo Cup. He crossed the finish line over 10sec ahead of runner-up Karminder Singh and managed to set the fastest lap 1:54.238.

Sandeep Kumar started in second but lost his position to Karminder in the very first corner. Sandeep managed to hold on to his podium finish despite Donavan Vaz’ attacks - Vaz started in sixth place and eventually worked his way up to fourth place.

Since Devin was a guest driver, top points went to championship leader Karminder. Sandeep is currently second in the points table. The second and final Ameo Cup race for Round 2 will function based on a reverse-grid format, so the top eight finishers of Saturday’s race will be slotted in reverse order on the grid. Rohit Goyal will start in first place, with Keith D’Souza and Dhruv Mohite behind him.
