The company’s motorsport Cyan Racing and its Polestar performance arm have updated both the V60 estate and its S60 sedan. Both cars get adjustable suspensions produced by Öhlins, six-piston Brembo brake calipers with 371mm discs and bespoke 20-inch wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres.
The company has also fitted the cars with carbon fibre bits so that the cars are lighter and more aerodynamic. The S60 also has an extended rear spoiler for better downforce. The improvements enhance the car’s handling and high-speed performance, according to the company. The 367hp/470Nm turbocharged four-cylinder engine in both cars remains unchanged.
The company will only make 1,500 units of the upgraded models. The V60 isn’t sold in India, but the S60 Polestar was launched here in April, 2017.
