Volkswagen's upcoming T-Roc SUV's feature list leaked online with Bookings Open.

Volkswagen showcased its new compact SUV at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2020. Volkswagen India ‘s T-ROC premium midsize SUV will compete against Jeep Compass. The upcoming Skoda Karoq was also recently showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Bookings have commenced for the T-Roc with the expected prices likely to start around Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom) with the launch expected somewhere around April 2020. The T-Roc is a five-seater SUV based on the Volkswagen Group's MQB platform that underpins the Tiguan.


Volkswagen T-Roc will be powered by a BS 6 compliant 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine generating a maximum power output of 150bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a 7-speed DSG (Dual-Clutch Automatic) gearbox. The T-ROC 5-seater SUV measures 4234mm in length, 1819mm in width and 1573mm in height and offers a boot space of 445L which can be increased further by folding the rear seats. The Stunning feature highlights include dual-tone alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof and LED headlamps with DRLs. Volkswagen T-Roc comes with a dual-tone rear bumper while Dynamically designed rear tail lamps give a sportier look to the vehicle.


The interior of the T-Roc is an all-new design embracing Volkswagen’s characteristic quality. Plenty of space for occupants and luggage, the interior will come equipped with ‘Vienna’ leather seats, reverse parking camera, 2-Zone Climatronic AC, keyless entry, push-button start, and an 8.0 inch-touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Enhanced safety features like Electronic Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking System, Park Distance Control, 6 airbags among others make T-Roc stand out in the SUV space in India. Innovative additions to T-Roc such as reverse parking camera and park distance control helps you in parking your vehicle easily in any parking spot.
