The German manufacturer, Volkswagen has upgraded the features on their flagship sedan Passat and has launched the Passat Connect Edition. The Passat Connect Edition is launched in two trim levels Comfortline and Highline.
The all-new Passat has got a host of new features including hill start assist, reverse camera with 360⁰ area view, park assist, dynamic chassis control, 3-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable front seats. On the outside, the car gets full LED Headlamps with DRLs and LED tail-lamps and easy open boot. The seats of the new Passat are wrapped in Nappa leather. And the new addition here is that it will come with a Connect dongle.
The Connect App is compatible with both Android and iOS. This app can track your trips, monitor your trip-wise fuel cost, it studies the driving behaviour of the driver, shares the last parked location, reminds about the regular service and in case of emergency can also do SOS calls. The Connect App gathers the data from the onboard diagnostics (OBD) port of the car. The driver can see all this information on their smartphone.
The Passat Connect Edition comes equipped with 9 airbags. Apart from the above, there are no other changes. The Comfortline trim and Highline trim of Passat Connect Edition is priced at Rs 25.99 lakhs and Rs. 28.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively.
