Full List of Vehicles That Mahindra Will Soon Launch in Indian Market

Mahindra and Mahindra have been on a launch blitz lately with the last financial year seeing them launch three vehicles – Mahindra Marazzo, Mahindra Alturas G4, Mahindra XUV300. However, this is not all as the company is gearing up to update its entire product line-up in accordance with the latest safety and emission norms that will soon be enforced. These updates will involve facelifts and model updates as well. Apart from these facelifts and model updates, the company is also all set to introduce new vehicles and variants of existing vehicles in its line-up. Let’s take a look at all the vehicles that the Indian UV maker has planned to launch in the country in the near future.

Mahindra TUV300 Facelift

Company to launch vehicle by mid 2019

Highlights – Spyshots reveal tweaks on the front and the rear parts of the sub-4 meter compact SUV. Full safety features update to comply with new safety rules. Introduction of new T10 (O) top end variant.  Lower state of tune engine to be discontinued and sub-4 meter compact SUV to come only with 100 Bhp engine. AMT gearbox to be discontinued as well.

Mahindra KUV100 Electric

Company to launch vehicle by mid 2019

Highlights – First vehicle of the brand to come with electric powertrain apart from the fossil fuel version. New features such as remote diagnostics, remote AC, GPS tracking, and driving pattern monitoring to make appearance on electric version of car. New electric model to have range of 350 km and naught to ton time of 9 seconds apart from the 186 kmph top speed.

Mahindra XUV300 Automatic

Company to launch vehicle by mid 2019

Highlights – Company to equip sub-4 meter compact SUV with new AMT automatic gearbox unit to take on rivals in the segment in a better manner as the XUV300 was not launched with an automatic option.

Mahindra XUV300 LWB

Company to launch vehicle by end 2019

Highlights – Mahindra likely to increase the size of original SsangYong Tivoli and introduce a long wheelbase model of XUV300. The longer wheelbase model will possibly offer 7-seater capacity to position itself as a unique choice in the compact SUV segment.

Mahindra XUV300 Electric

Company to launch vehicle by 2020

Highlights – The next vehicle after KUV100 to get electrified apart from the regular version. The lectric model likely to come with 380V battery with a range of 250 kms. The naught to ton timing of the electric SUV to be around 11 seconds with a top speed of 160 kmph.

Mahindra Thar

Company to launch vehicle by 2020

Highlights – Full model change for the popular lifestyle SUV. New Thar to be built on all-new platform leading to an increase in size. Engine to also be replaced with a new 2L engine being developed by brand. New model of Thar to comply with both BNVSAP and BS-VI norms.

Mahindra Scorpio

Company to launch vehicle by 2020

Highlights – Full model change for this SUV as well. Completely revamped exteriors and interiors to be seen on new version of Scorpio. SUV likely to share engine and platform with the new model of Thar with the new engine likely to deliver around 140 Bhp. New model of Scorpio to also follow BNVSAP and BS-VI regulations.

Mahindra Marazzo Automatic

Company to launch vehicle by late 2019

Highlights – Company to soon equip latest MPV Marazzo with new AMT gearbox to take on competition and offer better choices for customers.

Mahindra Marazzo Petrol

Company to launch vehicle by end of 2019 or start of 2020

Highlights -- Mahindra to likely introduce Marazzo with newly developed petrol engine found on XUV300. Mahindra to probably retune 1.2L engine to develop more output in the MPV.

Mahindra XUV500

Company to launch vehicle by 2020

Highlights – Full model replacement for XUV500 also on cards. New model to be built on improved platform and share engine with Thar and Scorpio. Company to introduce new model to take on upcoming rivalry with new vehicles in better manner.
