The company has added to its cruiser line up in India with the Renegade Commando Classic and Mojave.
The Renegade Sport S and the Commando are currently being sold in India, and now, UM has expanded this cruiser platform by introducing the Renegade Commando Classic and the Renegade Commando Mojave, priced at ₹1.89 lakh and ₹1.80 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.
Both are powered by the same 280cc single-cylinder engine that does duty in the other two UM Bikes. The Classic features traditional cruiser styling and lots of chrome bits. The Mojave looks far more rugged, and features a matte paint scheme and more minimalistic bodywork.
All three cruisers boast of advanced engine technology, like four-valves and liquid-cooling. Power from the engines is 24.80hp and torque is 23Nm.
UM has managed to keep prices competitive thanks to its very own manufacturing plant in Kashipur, Uttarakhand.
