TVS has launched the Sheet White Metal variant of Jupiter at Rs 63,497 in the country

TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant of its 110cc scooter, Jupiter by the name of ‘Sheet White Metal’ in the country. It is priced at Rs 63,497 (ex-showroom). This new variant is offered in two colour options namely Metallic Silver and Metallic Titanium Grey. 

In terms of design, the new TVS Jupiter variant gets an LED headlamp upfront. Towards the rear, it provides an LED taillight. Furthermore, the scooter offers an updated instrument cluster, a 2.0-litre open glove box, exterior fuel-lid, and 21-litre under-seat storage compartment. Though it misses out on features like the front USB charger which is present in the ZX and Classic variants. Besides these, the scooter offers TVS' patented Econometer with two riding modes namely Eco and Power. 




Mechanically, the new variant of Jupiter is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder engine. The motor comes with fuel-injection. It churns out a maximum power output of 7.4 bhp @ 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 8.4 Nm @ 5,500 rpm while being paired to a CVT gearbox. 

Besides this new Sheet White Metal variant, the TVS Jupiter is offered four other trims - Standard, ZX, ZX Disc, and Classic. The company had recently given a price hike of up to Rs 2770 to the remaining four models. After the price hike, the entire range of TVS Jupiter falls in the price bracket for Rs 63,497 - Rs 72,472 (ex-showroom). The scooter rivals the likes of Hero Maestro Edge and Honda Activa in its segment.
