In a bid to draw customers during the festive season, TVS has introduced a new dual-tone Star City+ variant. The bike features a few new design cues, a TVS chrome 3D label and a black grab rail. It is available in three colours – Black Red, Black Blue and Red Black – and retails at Rs 50,534 (ex-Showroom, Delhi).

Aniruddha Haldar, vice-president, marketing (commuter motorcycles, scooter and corporate brand), TVS Motor Company said, “The Star City+ has always stood for style with substance, namely power and mileage of 86kpl. Celebrating this is the new special edition dual-tone Star City+.”

The bike is powered by an ‘Ecothrust’ engine that makes 8.4hp and is mated to a four-speed gearbox. It comes with other features like Automatic Headlight On (AHO), honeycomb-textured side panel grills, a stainless-steel muffler, and a sporty, black aluminium grab rail. It also is fitted with black alloy wheels, 3D emblems and a flashy tail-lamp. The bike’s dashboard has an analogue speedometer and a digital information display.
