As we all know, the new BMW bikes G 310 R and G 310 GS are manufactured at the TVS Motor Company’s plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu along with their own TVS Apache RR 310. The motorcycle maker has today rolled out the 50,000th unit of the 310cc motorcycles, which is a BMW G 310 R.
TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad signed a long-term strategic partnership in April 2013 to manufacture sub-500cc motorcycles for the globe. This collaboration currently offers three products on the 310cc platform including BMW G 310 R, BMW 310 GS and TVS Apache RR 310.
The exports for the two BMW Motorrad bikes BMW G 310 R and BMW 310 GS commenced way back in December 2016 and they are being offered in more than 90 countries currently. Both the BMW bikes were launched in India this year after a long wait for the Indian bike enthusiasts. We can expect the collaboration to come up with more mass market products for the Indian market and international markets soon.
