This app helps a prospective buyer in exploring the wide range of TVS motorcycles from the comfort of their homes. The new initiative promises to radically alter the way buyers make a decision in regards to the purchase of a bike. With the country grappling with COVID-19 outbreak, the app is a welcome move as the buyers can make a decision without any physical interaction at any dealership. The innovative app is the first one in the fast-growing Indian two-wheeler market aimed at giving a holistic experience to the consumers. Currently, the app is available on iOS and Android. The first bikes to be listed on the platform are the brand’s flagship models namely Apache RR 310 and Apache RTR 200 4V.

Let’s take a look at the Top 5 features of the TVS ARIVE app.

3 different modes.

A place to explore (AR-based)

The place mode aims to create an augmented experience of the two-wheeler by positioning the 3D model in the augmented reality world. The user can have a 360-degree view of the bike by moving around it or use a swipe gesture to rotate it on the screen. The in-depth view is possible by the just zooming in and out of the model.

Scan a real bike (AR-based)

This mode is a combination of real objects and AR. The user can scan a real vehicle and get the information of the bike immediately. The motorcycle's features are highlighted in the form of pulsating hotspots. Further, the user can get details of the product via either audio-visual or textual content.

The 3D mode

This mode is available for both AR and non-AR devices. The Non-AR device users can only use the 3D mode functionality where one can rotate the products in a 360-degree view only with zoom in and out functionality. The viewer can experience an aerial view of the selected product using the camera function.

Colour Options

As of now, only two bikes are available for the ARIVE application - Apache RR 310 and Apache RTR 200 4V. The former comes in Titanium Black and Racing Red colour schemes while the latter retails in 7 paint jobs - Black, White, Matte Black, Matte White, Matte Gray, Matte Red and Matte Yellow. The user can view the bikes in different colours and customize it before making a decision.

Dimensions

The bike’s dimensions are available on the app itself. One can find the length, width, height as well along with the wheelbase of different products.

The buyers can use the sell-through process option on the app for booking a test ride. One can also locate TVS authorized dealerships near them through this function.
