TVS Apache Series manages to cross sales of over 40 lakh units globally.

TVS Motor Company recently announced that its premium motorcycle brand Apache has crossed the 40 lakh sales milestone in both the International and domestic markets. In order to celebrate this occasion, TVS Motor Company has collaborated with its TVS Apache customers to create the ‘Longest Chequered Flag’ spanning a length of 957 feet. Basically, this flag is an expression of gratitude for the customer's love and faith in the brand. Images of this Chequered Flag was sourced from each and every TVS customers across the globe. With over 2000 images, the ‘Chequered Flag’ has managed to set a record in the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for creating the longest chequered flag at its TVS Mysore Factory. 


TVS introduced the Apache Series back in 2005. The Apache brand is targetted mainly towards the young and aspirational riders. It consists of bikes in the range of 160cc to 310cc. Furthermore, the TVS Apache series is divided into two main categories namely Naked and Super Sports. Under the RTR series, you have bikes in the range of 160cc to 200cc. These include names of the RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180, and RTR 200 4V. While the SuperSport category lists the RR 310. This sports bike marked the entry of the brand in the super-premium category in 2017. The motorcycle gets features like throttle-by-wire tech, four ride modes, and TVS SmartXonnect enabled 5-inch vertical TFT colour display among others.

Apart from these, TVS has recently launched the Apache RTR 200 4V with Supermoto ABS functionality. The company further claims that this feature allows amazing stopping power along with impressive braking control.
