The Toyota Yaris is offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is rated at 106 BHP and 140 Nm. This is the only engine in which Yaris is available, but there is an option to choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT.
The low sales of Yaris are mainly due to a stiff competition from Maruti Ciaz, Honda City and Hyundai Verna. The Toyota Yaris is the only car in the segment that offers 7 airbags. The price range of Yaris is from Rs. 9.29 lakhs to Rs. 14.7 lakhs.
