Toyota company said that the Urban SUV concept is infamously the very first EV model in a continuance of 6 other EVs and will be unveiled in the first half of 2024.

Toyota Motors recently unveiled the brand-new Toyota Urban SUV EV concept at the company's yearly Kenshiki forum in Brussels. The EV depends on the Maruti Suzuki EVX concept, which was first shown at the 2023 Auto Expo and has been seen testing on both foreign and Indian roads. It is expected to be unveiled in its production-spec form in 2024. The company claims that the first of six EV models in the line, including the Urban SUV concept, will be unveiled in the first half of 2024.

The EV has stylish front LED clusters, similar to those seen on more recent Toyota models like the SUV Crown Signia. Additional design features include window-mounted door handles and flared wheel arches, which provides the concept electric vehicle a more muscular build. But when you look at the back, where the car resembles the EVX more, it's because of the taillamps and similar silhouette. The inside of the concept SUV was not revealed, but given the history of vehicles resulting from the collaboration among the two auto giants, it is likely to have a layout similar to that of the EVX.

Although Toyota hasn't revealed any information regarding the EV's drivetrain, it has stated that it will be available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. When the SUV is produced, it will come with two different battery pack options, out of which is probably going to be the 60 kWh setup found on the EVX, which will allow for a maximum range of 550 km.
