The Toyota RAV4 is a popular SUV in the international market. The Japanese carmaker has revealed the TRD Off-Road version of the same which comes with some changes exclusive to this version. The exterior has been treated with rugged styling elements such as a new grille, body cladding around the car, front and rear skid plates and new 18-inch alloy wheels.
The interior of the Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road comes with mild cosmetic changes, such as red stitiching on the upholstery and TRD logos on the seats. Powering the RAV4 is a 2.5-litre petrol engine that produces 206 BHP of maximum power output. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and it comes with AWD layout.
To make it a capable off-road car, Toyota has equipped the RAV4 TRD Off-Road with Multi Terrain Select system that comes with modes like Mud, Sand, Rock, Dirt and Snow. The car comes with 218 mm of ground clearance and offers Hill Start Assist, Trailer Sway Control, and Downhill Assist. We can expect Toyota to introduce the RAV4 SUV in India in the future.
