Toyota Kirloskar Motors has officially removed the Innova Touring Sport from its official website. The company had launched the Toyota Innova Touring Sport way back in 2017 to celebrate its first Anniversary. This new variant of the Innova Crysta was available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variants were priced in the range of Rs 17.79 lakhs - Rs 20.84 lakhs ( ex-showroom). While the diesel variants costed between Rs 18.91 lakhs - Rs 22.15 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Innova Touring Sport was Rs 75,000 pricier than the normal Innova Crysta.
Dubbed as the ‘Flagship Model’, the Innova Touring Sport came with distinctive and sportier styling elements in comparison to its regular sibling. Cosmetically, it incorporated black body cladding both on the front bumper and its side profile along with some chrome inserts. At the rear, the MPV featured a thick shiny black bar that joined the tail-lights. Other design highlights included 16-inch black alloy wheels and chrome embellishments on the ORVMs.
The Innova Touring Sport came with subtle changes inside the cabin that differentiated it from the regular model. It was available in a 6-seat option with the captain seat wrapped in premium black leather. Furthermore, the MPV also featured the exclusive red illuminating 3D design combination meter with a large TFT multi-information display, redwood pattern on the instrument panel, sporty red stitch on seats, and parking brake boot among many others. The MPV was offered in two colour options namely Wildfire Red and White Pearl Crystal Shine.
Under the bonnet, the Innova Touring Sport was offered with three engine variations, a 2.7-litre petrol, a 2.4-litre GD diesel, and a larger & powerful 2.8-litre GD diesel units. Transmission options for the MPV included a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit.
