The price for the new GX (-) MT 7-seater and GX (-) MT 8-seater are Rs 16.89 lakhs & Rs 16.94 lakhs respectively

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced two new petrol base variants of Innova Crysta for the 2022 model year. Having said that, the GX (-) MT 7-seater and GX (-) MT 8-seater are priced at Rs 16.89 lakh and Rs 16.94 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) respectively. 

The newly introduced GX trim comes equipped with basic features like fabric seats, rear AC vents, tilt & telescopic steering, Android Auto & Apple Carplay connectivity, dual airbags, hill start assist control, ABS with EBD, and vehicle stability control. The 16-inch alloy wheels come as standard across the entire range. However, it does miss out on a few features. 


Performance-wise, the petrol variant of Innova Crysta is powered by a 2.7-litre unit that generates a top power of 164 bhp at 5200rpm and a peak torque of 245 Nm at 4000rpm. The motor is further mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The diesel variant, on the other hand, is powered by a 2.4-litre turbo motor that churns out 148 bhp power. The torque output stands at 343 Nm with manual gearbox and 360 Nm with automatic gearbox. Transmission duties here are taken care of by a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

With the advent of the new year, Toyota increases the price of its entire range including Fortuner, Innova Crysta, Camry, Glanza, Urban Cruiser, and Vellfire. Talking about Innova Crysta, the price hike will fall in the range of Rs 12000 - Rs 33000. The automaker has further increased the price of standard GX MT 7-seater and 8-seater by Rs 12000 each. It is now available at Rs 17.30 lakhs and Rs 17.35 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom) respectively. The G+ and GX 7-seater & 8-seater gets a hike of Rs 12000. Talking about VX and ZX trims, prices have been increased by Rs 33000.
