Toyota has finally launched the Innova Crysta Facelift at a starting price of Rs 16.26 lakhs in the country

Toyota Kirloskar Motors has launched the much-anticipated Innova Crysta Facelift today in the price range of Rs 16.26 lakhs to Rs 24.33 lakhs (ex-showroom) in the country. The iconic Innova has been the unrivaled leader in the MPV segment for over 15 years now. Toyota has given a mid-life refresh to the MPV after four years of its launch. 




The lastest version of the MPV is offered in three grades namely GX, VX, and ZX. In terms of design, the Innova Crysta Facelift gets a bold look due to the trapezoidal piano-black grille with chrome surround flanked by headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs. In addition, it features a sharper front bumper design and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Other design highlights include faux skid plates, sportier black fog lamp bezels, and bonnet lines. 




Inside the cabin, the MPV boasts of an all-black interior. The top-end ZX grade comes with the new Camel Tan upholstery colour. In comparison to the outgoing model, the New Innova Crysta Facelift is more technologically advanced. It comes equipped with a new and larger Smart Playcast touchscreen audio system compatable with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Other equipment on-board include real-time vehicle tracking, geofencing, last parked location, new twin-pod instrument cluster, multi-functional steering wheel with mounted controls among many.

The safety net on the four-wheeler comprises of seven airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist. The MPV also gets front clearance sonar (with MID display) to prevent collisions while parking in tight spaces. It is now being offered with a new Sparkling Black Crystal Shine exterior colour option. 

Performance-wise, the Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift gets two engine options. A 2.4-litre diesel engine that churns out 148 bhp power @3400 rpm. The engine develops 343 Nm torque between 1400-2800 rpm while being linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox. While it produces 360 Nm of torque @1400-2600 rpm with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The MPV also gets a 2.7-litre petrol unit that generates 164 bhp of power output @5200 rpm and 245 Nm torque @4000 rpm.
