Toyota Fortuner facelift has been launched in the country today; The SUV is offered in two variants - Standard & Legender

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has finally launched the much-anticipated Fortuner facelift in the price range of Rs 29.98 lakhs - Rs 37.43 lakhs (ex-showroom). Talking about the top-end Legender variant, it is priced at Rs 37.58 lakhs (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can easily book the SUV either by directly going to the dealerships across the country or by visiting the official website of Toyota. Toyota Fortuner facelift is offered in two trims - Standard and Legender. The SUV will be offered in a total of 9 color options - 8 monotone and 1 dual-tone. 


In terms of design, the Fortuner facelift features a new front grille with chrome metallic finish, sleek LED headlamps, and larger air-dams. The LED headlamps get a distinctive sharp design-led line guide. The addition of the skid plates gives a bold look to the car. The SUV gets a revised rear design. On the sides, it gets 18-inch alloy wheels. Talking about the top-end Legender variant, it gets split quad-LED headlamps with a waterfall LED line guide. The SUV comes with a hands-free tailgate for the first time. 


Inside the cabin, the main highlight is the enhanced connectivity. The SUV gets features like geofencing, vehicle tracking, among many others. Besides these, there is a new, larger, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, an 11-speaker premium JBL audio system, front clearance sonar, dedicated Sports Mode, lockable differential, seat ventilation, and wireless charging. On the other hand, the Legender trim comes loaded with features like a hydrographic pattern, ambient lighting system, smart key case, two USB ports at the rear, kick sensor for the powered door, wireless charging facility, and dual-tone seat upholstery. The electronic locking differential is another highlight. 



The Fortuner facelift comes with two engine options. The 2.7-litre petrol engine churns out a maximum power of 166 bhp and a peak torque of 245 Nm. While the 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine bells out 201 bhp power and 500 Nm torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual unit and a six-speed automatic unit. Furthermore, The Standard trim of the Fortuner facelift comes with 4×2 and 4×4 configurations. The Legender trim will be sold only in 4x2 format. The SUV also gets three driving modes - Eco, Normal, and Sport.
