Officially known as the Gazoo Racing or the GR Supra, this car hails from Toyota’s very successful racing car division. It is expected to be imported in India. Toyota Supra Engine Specifications:
The Supra shares mechanical bits with BMW’s new Z4 Roadster. It is powered by a 3.0L turbocharged inline six-cylinder BMW engine that outputs top power of 335bhp and peak torque of 500Nm. The engine is mated to a ZF-sourced 8 speed automatic transmission while propelling it to do a real-world 0-100kmph sprint in under four seconds. Toyota has tuned the suspension, steering, and differential to make Supra's driving dynamics and handling like a sports car instead of an open-top GT.
Toyota Supra Exterior Updates
Upfront, the Supra features its signature headlights. The vertical slash on the outside of the headlight, the bulge in and around the running board along with the mini spoiler at the rear has been neatly executed. The rear end of Supra gets an aerodynamically tested diffuser along with a twin 90 mm exhaust tip and a reverse light cluster inspired by a race car. The classic, iconic brushwork Supra logo is found on the back.
Toyota Supra Interior Updates
The standout feature of the Supra is its design. It is an ideal blend of function and beauty. The interior switchgear and the technology have been borrowed from BMW thus giving it a more premium look than other Toyota products. Supra also features sleeker steering wheels and 289 litres of trunk space. An 8.8-inch high-resolution display rests in Supra’s gauge pod with a three-dimensional tachometer prominently sitting in the center.
Toyota Supra: Wireless Car play expected to come with a subscription fee
By partnering with BMW, Toyota becomes the second automaker to offer Apple Carplay wirelessly. Apart from offering a wireless charging system, Supra will also offer wireless Apple Carplay. The CarPlay in Supra will come with a 4-year trial period. There is also an expectation that Toyota might charge an annual subscription fee for it.

2020 Supra comes equipped with a number of safety features. These include a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, automatic high beams along with speed limit info. It also offers a driver-assist package along with front and rear parking sensors.
