Tata Tiago NRG has been launched, which is a cross version of the Tiago hatchback that gets higher ground clearance and black cladding to make it look rugged.

Tata has launched the Tiago NRG with a price tag of Rs. 5.50 lakhs for the petrol variant and Rs. 6.32 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom) for the diesel variant. The NRG variant is Rs. 30,000/- more expensive than the range topping XZ trim of the Tiago. There are no mechanical updates to the Tiago NRG but considerable cosmetic changes.

The Tiago NRG gets black cladding all around along with front and rear skid plate. There is a contrasting black roof along with roof rails, black ORVMs and 4-spoke dual tone alloy wheels. These exterior changes makes it look like a proper cross hatchback with an additional ground clearance of 10 mm that makes it 180 mm.

The interiors also get some cosmetic changes with an all-black theme having bright orange highlights to make it look sporty. The seat upholstery has  denim inspired fabric for added visual appeal. Rest of the car remains exactly the same. The Tiago NRG comes with the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.0-litre Revotorq diesel engine options with 5-speed manual transmission.
