The Sierra Electric comes with flashy alloy wheels, a flush door handle, massive quarter glass and windows, and a D-pillar that has a slight heft, adding more charm to the SUV. The LED strip at the front is running across the width of the EV, whereas the headlamps are fixed into the bumper, which now has vertical slats. The SUV has a front skid plate, muscular haunches on the bonnet, and body cladding on the sides. The front door has an ".EV" badge, which will become more common in forthcoming Tata EVs.

Tata has not shared any information regarding the powertrain. However, the Sierra SUV is likely to get two electric motors on each axle, bringing all-wheel drive to the EV. The interior of the upcoming Sierra is likely to retain various elements from the concept. It is expected to come with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and other advanced features.

The Tata Sierra EV is likely to go into production sometime in 2025, and the company might offer it as a lifestyle offering. The company is planning to introduce an all-new internal combustion unit version with diesel and petrol powertrain options. The Tata Sierra EV will be a tough competitor to Mahindra Thar Electric, which is also likely to be launched sometime in 2025. Tata Motors is getting ready to unveil the Curvv electric compact SUV in 2024 and the Curvv ICE in 2025, while the Harrier EV is scheduled to launch next year.
