Tata Motors has resumed deliveries of its Nexon EV in the selected cities amidst Coronavirus Lockdown. Car showrooms in the green zone have been granted permission to operate in strict adherence to the guidelines issued by the authorities.

Customers who have booked Tata Nexon EV in Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore are receiving their vehicles based on booking priority. The company is likely to resume deliveries of Nexon EV in other major cities across the country as well. Tata Motors sold 198 units of Nexon EV in the month of March. But due to the lockdown initiated in the last week of March, the automotive industry came to a standstill with halted production and ceased deliveries. There has also been the cancellation of bookings on a large scale as the customers steered clear of hefty EMIs during this tough time.
