Tata Motors has launched the Nexon EV Dark Edition at a price point of Rs 15.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi) in the country. Being available only in the top two variants namely XZ+ and XZ+ LUX, Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition is introduced in a premium Midnight Black exterior colour. The all-electric SUV was launched nearly one and a half year back in the Indian market and presently it is India’s highest selling electric 4-wheeler with a market share of 64 percent (YTD FY21). The Nexon Electric XZ+ Dark Edition also gets a few new features.


Tata Nexon Electric Dark Edition flaunts Satin Black humanity line and beltline while riding on all-new 16-inch Charcoal Grey alloy wheels. The Dark mascot remains as standard with the SUV. The cabin is finished in a premium dark themed leatherette upholstery with tri-arrow perforations and EV blue highlight stitches. The dashboard is presented in dark glossy piano black theme with tri-arrow design. The door trims too receive the same dark themed leatherette upholstery with tri-arrow perforations. Some of the other notable inclusions in the Nexon EV Dark Edition are a Leatherette wrapped steering wheel with EV blue highlight stitches, Exclusive Dark embroidery on front headrests, Rear seat central armrest with cup holders, 60:40 rear seat split and adjustable rear seat headrest.


The Dark Edition carries over an array of features from the standard variants of the Nexon EV in the form of Powered sunroof with tilt function, Auto headlamps, Auto rain sensing wipers, Rear AC vents, FATC, PEPS, 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, iTPMS (Tyre pressure monitoring system) and Harman-developed touchscreen infotainment system with 35 connected car features by Tata Motors ZConnect (powered by iRA). The SUV is packed with a 30.2 kWh Lithium-ion battery which is attached to a permanent synchronous magnet induction motor with IP 67 rating. This motor delivers top power of 127 bhp and peak torque of 245 Nm while having a standard warranty of 8 years/160000 kms.
