Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) has successfully tested advanced driver assistance tech with the Tata Hexa.

Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) has come up with a fully automated Tata Hexa, which is ready for the future. The demonstration showcases the advanced driver assistance systems functioning on public roads of Europe. This project aims to come up with connected, electric and shared technology in cars.

This technology is being developed for the Indian market to make the future of automobiles tackle road congestion, air pollution and road safety with ease. It has already been a challenging project to safely test such technologies on public roads in a real-world environment. The Tata engineers need to further understand the challenging road usage pattern in India and apply that knowledge to this project.

Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) is a subsidiary of Tata Motors which is created as a UK-based centre for automotive design and engineering located at the University of Warwick. TMETC provides research and development for Tata Motors.
