Tata Motors has silently added two new colors to the Harrier SUV namely Royale Blue and Tropical Mist. Besides these new paint shades, the SUV is offered in a total of three other color options - Calypso Red, Daytona Grey, and Orcus White. The Harrier Dark Edition comes in Oberon Black color scheme. While the recently launched Kaziranga Edition gets the Grassland Beige exterior shade.
Talking about the color options in detail, the new Tropical Mist shade gets a contrast black roof for the XZS and XZ+ variants. The Royale Blue shade, on the other hand, is offered in a single-tone option, starting with the XT+ trim.
Besides new color options, no other changes have been made. Having said that, the SUV continues to draw its power from a 2.0-litre diesel engine that churns out a top power of 168 bhp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Feature-wise, Tata Harrier comes equipped with a plethora of them. These include auto headlamps, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, Android Auto & Apple Carplay connectivity, connected car tech, a panoramic sunroof, a powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, auto climate control, and many more. The safety kit consists of 6 airbags, hill hold & hill descent control, ABS with EBD, and ESP.
Talking about the price, Tata Harrier retails at Rs 14.65 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price goes as high as Rs 21.95 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top-end XZA+ Dark AT trim. Furthermore, the SUV rival the likes of Jeep Compass, MG Hector, and Mahindra XUV700.
