Apart from Tata, several EV makers are also employing strategic discounts to capture the attention of EV enthusiasts across the country.

Tata Motors recently declared a price hike on its range of cars in India. Before revising the costs of its models in January 2024, the company is offering year-end discounts of up to INR 1.10 lakh on its famous electric models, such as the Tata Tigor and Tiago EVs. The new discounts will be applicable until the end of this month or until the car stock lasts. Apart from Tata, several automakers are also employing strategic discounts to capture the attention of EV enthusiasts across the country.

Customers who are planning to purchase the Tigor EV compact sedan can now get a discount of INR 1.10 lakh, which incorporates a cash discount and an exchange bonus of INR 50,000. Tata is also offering a corporate discount of up to INR 10,000 on the sedan. The Tigor EV is currently available at an introductory price of INR 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric sedan is powered by a 26-kWh battery set and comes with an ARAI-certified range of 315 km on a single charge.
