Tata Altroz XM+ variant introduced at a price tag of Rs 6.6 lakh this festive season

With the recent introduction of the All-New Hyundai i20 and keeping in mind this festive season, Tata Motors today announced the launch of Altroz XM+ variant in the Indian market. This particular trim will offer enhanced exterior and interior features. Lets begin with the outside, well the overall design of this premium hatchback remains the same as before but what has been added is a new wheel cover design to the 16-inch rims. The XM+ variant is available in 4 colour options namely Downtown Red, High Street Gold, Midtown Grey and Avenue White. It would also offer a remote foldable key for the added benefit of the user.

 


Coming to the interior, the cabin layout and design will be the same as before however it would stand to provide a 17.78cm touchscreen infotainment system which will come with Apple CarPlay and Android connectivity. In addition to these, there would be elements like steering mounted controls, voice recognition, voice alerts among other key highlights. As for the powertrain options, the Altroz XM+ trim will only be offered in petrol. Thus the petrol engine in this reference happens to be a BS6 compliant 1.2 Revotron unit. This 1199cc, 3-cylinder engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 85 bhp with a peak torque of 113 Nm. Talking about transmission, then it comes equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
