Suzuki is very close to launching a cruiser motorcycle for the Indian market. The upcoming cruiser, dubbed as the Intruder 150 will use the engine from their popular Gixxer. The Suzuki Intruder 150 will be launched this month.
Sources suggest that the upcoming motorcycle features distinct styling. The bikes individual design is based on the manufacturer’s Intruder M800 and the M1800. The upcoming motorcycle is expected to share a lot design-wise including the front-heavy bodywork and the big headlight cluster. Since this is a cruiser, it will have a low and comfortable seat. The Intruder will also have the dual-tip muffler that is also see on the Gixxer. Overall, the styling is very different from what we are used to seeing in this segment.
The front forks, wheels and the disc are expected to be straight off the Gixxer. The frame could be reworked so that the forks have a bit more rake to suit its cruiser character. The new 150cc cruiser will also feature LED lighting all-around. We can expect Suzuki to price this motorcycle around the ₹1 lakh mark.
